This round, my goals were to write frequently, edit Conkers, and memorise poetry:
Writing
I did write regularly, working on a variety of projects and one-off ideas.
However, I’m not happy with my editing progress; none of the changes I made to Conkers seemed to work.
I feel like I don’t really understand how to edit my writing yet, so I’ve decided to practice on a shorter story. Hopefully, it will end up being something I can put online.
Poetry
I’m pretty happy with the six poems I memorised this round. The number of details I found surprised me; there’s a lot I miss when I only read through a poem once.
Come to think of it, that’s probably something to think about when I’m editing.
