My goals will probably stay the same for a while longer. I only got four days of writing in this week, but I could definitely have done more — and I did draft two short bits of fiction.
I’m also catching up with my reading. This week I read Oath of Gold, by Elizabeth Moon; and The Gone-Away World, by Nick Harkaway.
Those are two very different books, but they both used POV to manipulate the reader’s assumptions. By choosing a viewpoint character, they imply that character is around to notice things — and that other characters aren’t.
Good luck and happy writing!
